Cefixime Azithromycin Tablets

Cefixime Azithromycin Tablets are formulated using two active antibacterial agents that show activity against both grams positive & grams negative strains. They are prescribed for treating pneumonia, UTI, strep throat, & traveler's diarrhea. These tablets have dual mode of action which includes disruption of bacterial cell wall via inhibition of peptidoglycan synthesis and interference with bacterial protein synthesis by binding to 50S ribosomal subunit. Cefixime Azithromycin Tablets show bioavailability of about 50% with hepatic metabolism.
