Fluconazole Tablets

Fluconazole Tablets are indicated for treatment of number of fungal infections including cryptococcosis, histoplasmosis, and candidiasis. They exert their therapeutic effect by inhibiting conversion of lanosterol to ergosterol. These tablets show more than 90% of bioavailability with about 12% of protein binding ability. They are metabolized in liver with elimination half life of about 30 hours and excreted via kidney. Fluconazole Tablets belong to azole antifungal medication class and assures targeted mode of action.
